About The Damn Hoovers

Members of the Damn Hoovers are veterans of local cover and original bands in the Chicago area. They have been providing musical entertainment for others and themselves for decades. Lester Hoover (aka Leo Swiontek) and Peaches Hoover share the lead vocal responsibilities along with their bass and keys roles. Bob Hoover and Rusty Hoover handle guitar and drums, respectively. There is also an extended Hoover family of former band members who appear periodically on stage - usually unannounced - with the main crew for a song or two or three.
